Brunswick Forest has been the ideal getaway for many empty nesters hoping to begin the golden chapters of their lives. Regardless of what time of year it is, you can ensure that if you are going to visit Brunswick Forest for an event weekend you are certain to want to stick around! Fall Homecoming Weekends are our team’s perfect answer to your craving for fine Southern Living. As the weather gets cooler, fun times are heating up for prospective buyers. October’s Homecoming Weekend was a smash hit, with at least 14 major sales going through – including eight of our spec homes. Now, November’s Homecoming Weekend is looking to do the same!
When visiting Brunswick Forest during one of these events, you are not just participating in a host of planned (yet safe) activities. You are immersing yourself in what makes our area of greater Wilmington truly special. The November Homecoming Weekend will be combining a warm Autumn atmosphere that makes you feel at home with plenty of fun activities to engage in and make memories out of. You might even find yourself making new friends that you can swap stories with. You could also realize that your dream home has been waiting for you here the whole time. Well, quit your daydreaming, because Brunswick Forest is where the best chapter in your story is going to begin. Here is what is on the itinerary for this November!
- Friday, November 6th:
Up and at ‘em! It is time to start this homecoming vacation with a real showstopper. The official showcase of homes will open at 9 am, and guests can continue touring until 5 pm. Do not forget to bring your “Passport to Paradise” and follow along with the Showcase of Homes booklet! This booklet will be key to hopping around from house to house during the event. Just like in October’s event, there will be over 30 homes open for you to explore. From 11:30 am to 1:30 pm you will get to enjoy a tasty lunch sponsored by one of Brunswick Forest’s building partners. The builder host for this day will be Legacy Homes by Bill Clark, and they are hosting lunch in their Cypress II model in the Park West neighborhood! If you have been interested in a builder’s work and what they can offer, these quaint luncheons are a great way to interact with them. You will also have access to a special welcome reception ceremony complete with a wine tasting courtesy of Bridgewater Wines, and you get to enjoy everything while listening to the smooth live tunes of local guitarist Monica Jane.
- Saturday, November 7th:
Once again, the Homecoming Weekend home tours will officially open at 9 am and remain open until 5 pm. Lunch is from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm and will be hosted by Kent Homes. Lunch will be served in the Shelter Bay model home in The Lakes neighborhood. It will serve as the perfect boost to get you ready for more home tour action! Looking to end the evening in the most exquisite way possible? How about spending it in the Banyan Bay model home in The Lakes hosted by Logan Homes?! There will be live music for your entertainment by local artists, delicious beverages that would make anyone jealous, and Autumn themed appetizers that will keep you coming back for more. It will be a night to remember!
- Sunday, November 8th:
Homes will be open by appointment only on Sunday. There will be a special Brunswick Forest gift at the end of the weekend for turning in their passport. The real estate team will have a cooler handy at the Welcome Center, and tasty snacks that are great on the go. These refreshments will be available from 9 am to 5 pm. It will be one last tasty to help power you through the event finale, and it will be our little way of saying, “Thank you for joining us this weekend.”
Did we mention that you can spend your weekend doing a lot of other activities outside of what was listed above? For the entire weekend, the greater Wilmington area will be your oyster! This includes a pickleball session at the House of Pickleball, golf upon the pristine greens of Cape Fear National, and a tour on the historic Cape Fear River. Our very own Chef Scott Euvrard will be at Cape Fear National holding a grilling demonstration, teaching you everything you need to know about cooking fresh local seafood (including free samples to taste!) You will also get to immerse yourself in the charm of the Old South by enjoying a horse-drawn carriage ride through historic, downtown Wilmington. And if you are looking to get lost in natural beauty, there will also be opportunities to tour Airlie Gardens as well. Kickoff fall with the next step in your home discovery experience. If you have more questions be sure to contact the team at 855.983.9579. There is a lot to be thankful for this November, and we want to thank you for being a part of our communal family. We highly suggest you RVSP as quickly as you can because these homecoming events are something not to be missed out on!
