Set within the amenity-rich community of Brunswick Forest, Cape Fear National is often mistaken for an exclusive, private golf course.
While the celebrated caliber of play and course conditions would certainly lead one to that conclusion, quite the opposite is true. Both Cape Fear National golf course and its clubhouse restaurant, The Forest, are open to the public.

We were able to catch up with Jerry Helms, Brunswick Forest’s Director of Sales and Marketing, as he shared his thoughts on the fabulous fairways and fare at the award-winning Cape Fear National.

“Cape Fear National has such an outstanding reputation in the golf world.  In fact, it was named the ’11th Best Course You Can Play in NC’ by Golfweek magazine and it just recently upgraded its entire fleet of golf carts to the Precedent i3 enhancing the golf experience.  Not only is the course outstanding, but The Forest restaurant and bar is amazing as well!”

Helms continued, “The chef is excellent, the residents rave over the food, and the view is pretty stellar as well!”

Helms ended the conversation with an open invitation to come play a round at Cape Fear National or try out Chef’s Scott carefully, crafted menu at The Forest!

We hope to see you soon!
