By Coach Alan: The challenge presented to chefs in this cookbook was to come up with recipes for tasty dishes the average home cook could prepare in 45 minutes or less. Some recipes are one-pot meals…others are easy to double and freeze….many make use of ‘secret weapons’ to have in the pantry to add fast flavor to a dish. This book takes a glimpse into chefs’ private lives – from the healthy meals they cook when they get home from the gym to the dinners they cook for visiting family and friends. It translates some of the best practices of restaurant food prep into cooking in your home kitchen.
