Brunswick Forest resident, Burt Rosner, regularly volunteers in Wilmington at the KMI (Kids Making It) Woodworking Program for at-risk children. After first volunteering with the Brunswick Forest Woodworking Club, led by fellow resident Greg Miller, Burt fell in love with working with the kids at KMI. Joined by Grahm Webster among other Brunswick Forest residents, Burt visits the Kids Making It program at least twice a week. Started back in 1997 by Executive Director, James W. Pierce, KMI has bloomed into an environment where the aspirations of these young woodworkers are realized and nurtured.
