CINCO DE MAYO CONCERT
Saturday, May 5th in Annsdale Park
Open to the public, this free concert in Annsdale Park is our favorite way to enjoy this warm, summer weather in Brunswick Forest. Featuring live music by Island Time Band, this Cinco de Mayo themed concert will be held from 6-8pm and is sure to be another one for the books!
Be sure to bring your own chairs, coolers and dancing shoes.
2ND ANNUAL DOG SHOW
Saturday, May 5th in Annsdale Park
Start your Saturday morning off with Brunswick Forest’s beloved 4-legged residents. Our 2nd Annual Dog Show will be held in Annsdale Park. Beginning at 9am, our participating pups will prance across the stage while Dutch, the MC, introduces each contestant to the judges.
There will be several categories being judged; including best working group, hound group, toy group, best rescue, and many more.
While the contestants are limited to Brunswick Forest residents only, this event is open to the public, so stop by Saturday morning and cheer on your favorite participating pup!
CIVIL AIR PATROL ROCKET EVENT
Saturday, May 5th in The Villages at Brunswick Forest
Ready for lift off? Taking place in The Villages at Brunswick Forest on Saturday morning, the Civil Air Patrol’s aerospace education mission will be launching off rockets that their cadets have recently built from 8:30am-12pm. The event will involve about 20 cadets between the ages of 12 and 18 and will consist of the rocket launch as well as other STEM related activities.
The Cape Fear Composite Squadron and Brunswick County Composite Squadron will be set up in the Brunswick Forest field on the far side of Lowe’s Food in the Villages.

8TH ANNUAL CARDBOARD BOAT REGATTA
Saturday, June 9th at Hammock Lake
One of Brunswick Forest’s signature events, the 8th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta is set to take place on Saturday, June 9th at Hammock Lake from 11am-2pm. Residents are invited to design a boat with family, friends, neighbors, or club members and compete against their fellow residents in a race on Hammock Lake that is approximately 300 yards.
One of our most anticipated events of the year, the Cardboard Boat Regatta is a full day of fun! In addition to the race, there will be kayak & paddle board demos, food trucks, a DJ and prizes! Whether you’re competing or watching, there will be plenty to keep you busy!
