Now through the end of June, don’t miss the Shakespeare on the Green festival at Wilmington’s Greenfield Lake Amphitheater. Each weekend in June, the area’s finest thespians perform some of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays in the city’s premiere outdoor venue.

Shakespeare on the Green is one of Wilmington’s most-anticipated summer traditions. The city boasts some of the Southeast’s most celebrated cultural arts attractions, and draws seasoned performers from around the country with its thriving film industry.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic cultural experience and see Shakespeare’s finest works in the great outdoors! For a full schedule of performances, visit the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater website. Gates open at 6:30 pm on show evenings, and each family-friendly performance begins promptly at 8 pm each weekend evening (Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) Feel free to bring a picnic to the show, or enjoy a snack from the amphitheater’s concession stand.
