Brunswick Forest

Bill and Judy Sullivan moved to Brunswick Forest about two years ago from their home in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Judy, a lifelong New Jerseyan, was a little apprehensive about leaving behind everything familiar, but quickly fell in love with her new home in coastal North Carolina.

The couple enjoys entertaining friends and neighbors in their modified Balboa home built by Brunswick Forest preferred builder, Kent Homes. The spacious home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the community’s premier neighborhood, Cape Fear National. The Sullivans take full advantage of their home’s close proximity to the Cape Fear National clubhouse, where Bill has breakfast almost every morning. The couple enjoys dining at The Forest at Cape Fear National for their theme nights, and also head to the restaurant every year on December 31st to ring in the New Year with their Brunswick Forest neighbors.

Bill and Judy found that meeting people and making friends was easy once they moved to the community. Their first year at Brunswick Forest, they invited neighbors to their Christmas party and count these people that they met then as some of their closest friends to this day. They say that one of the things they have enjoyed most about moving to the community is all of the wonderful people they have met.

Both Bill and Judy are golf members at Cape Fear National, and Judy enjoys playing Mahjong with other ladies in the community at the Fitness and Wellness Center. Having easy access to the shops and restaurants in Wilmington was important to the Sullivans when deciding on where to settle for their retirement home, and the couple enjoys dining out in the area’s many fine restaurants.
