IT’S BEACH SEASON YEAR-ROUND

Here in coastal North Carolina, it’s never too early for beach season! Believe it or not, there is plenty to do during the cooler seasons at Wrightsville, Kure and Carolina Beach. Here is a quick list of our favorite beach activities to do during the colder months:
- Join us for the 2017 Run-N-Plunge this February to help raise money for the Special Olympics of New Hanover County. All ages are welcome to the events, including the costume contest! Come show your support for a great cause and enjoy the community fun!
- It’s the perfect time of year to comb the beaches for seashells and sea glass! Find shells easily on the white sands of Wrightsville Beach or take a morning trip to Kure Beach to search the sand bars for unique finds.
- One of the greatest attractions when visiting the beaches in Wilmington is Freeman Park at Carolina Beach. Enjoy camping, fishing, and a variety of activities, including a drive on the sandy shore!
- While you’re enjoying all these fun activities, don’t forget to stop by some of the local restaurants for a fresh seafood platter! Enjoy your favorites as you take in the gorgeous views beach-side!
Be sure to join us for the festivities this winter season at the local beaches of Wilmington! From family fun to gorgeous days on the coast, take in all that Wrightsville, Kure and Carolina Beach have to offer.
