This time, we sat down with sales agent Morgen Schreck to learn what brought him to the coast and what he loves most about helping clients find their place at Brunswick Forest!
Meet Morgen Schreck
For Morgen, coastal North Carolina has always been home. “Being born and raised in eastern North Carolina, this area has always been and always will be home to me,” he shares. Fittingly, his first name, derived from Celtic and Old Welsh origins, means “sea-born.” “I like to think I was destined to live near the water,” Morgen says with a smile. What he enjoys most is the easy access to everything the coast offers. “Within 30 minutes, I can be boating, fishing, or kayaking, which is hard to beat.” His favorite part, though, is the scenery. “Coastal North Carolina sunsets are truly something special, and I never pass up an opportunity to stop and take one in.”
Morgen’s path to real estate began long before his professional career. With a background in sales and hospitality, he learned early on the importance of building relationships and understanding people’s needs. But his real inspiration came from home. “My biggest inspiration for getting into real estate was my mom,” he explains. “When I was growing up, she would drive me through neighborhoods she loved and point out different homes and architectural styles. We’d often stop by open houses just to see the unique designs inside.” Looking back, Morgen says it’s funny how those moments planted the seeds for the career he has today.
