Brunswick Forest Wrapping Up Another Year with New Amenities and Added Value
Brunswick Forest is wrapping up another successful year, having welcomed more than 1,300 families to this award-winning, master-planned development since it opened in 2007. In 2014 alone, Brunswick Forest added more than 300 families to the community, as well as two new builder groups to its team, new amenities for its residents, and new development throughout the community.
Brunswick Forest Director of Sales Jerry Helms says he likes to reference an Albert Einstein quote when asked about the phenomenal, ongoing popularity of the community: “Strive not to be a success, but rather, to be of value.” To that end, he said, “At Brunswick Forest, we are always striving to provide our homeowners with the highest value in terms of amenities, homes and lifestyle.”
The Good Keeps Getting Better Added value means expanded amenities as the community welcomes more residents. The new Hammock Pool opened this past June and has quickly become a favorite gathering place for all ages. The large outdoor oasis features brightly colored chaise lounges and umbrellas, a kids’ splash pad, lockers, showers and bocce ball courts. This Tommy Bahama-styled saltwater pool is the third in Brunswick Forest; the other two pools are located at the community’s 18,000-square-foot Fitness and Wellness Center.
Additionally, construction is already well underway for five new pickleball courts located by the clubhouse at Cape Fear National®. Pickleball—a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis—is a popular sport in Brunswick Forest and in the surrounding areas. The community’s very active Pickleball Club has more than 300 members who not only play the game, but also organize tournaments and arrange for lessons and clinics for newer members.
Brunswick Forest also continues to grow their development offerings in response to customer preferences. The developers have plans to debut a new, Charleston-influenced town home village in the coming year. “Tennyson Village represents another example of Brunswick Forest listening to the needs of its customers,” says Helms. “Town homes continue to be desirable for our homeowners, with demand far exceeding our inventory. These new homes will represent another low-maintenance option for homeowners.”
Land clearing is already underway for another new neighborhood, Cypress Pointe, which will showcase custom homes with classic Southern architecture. “These will be grand, traditional homes with deep front porches and wide columns,” says Helms. “The homes will be surrounded by classic Southern landscaping and trees draped with Spanish moss.” Cypress Pointe will join Cape Fear National offering clients a great option for custom home building.
The community has plans to launch the third phase of its immensely popular neighborhood, Park Landing in 2015 . These sought-after coastal cottages are attractive to homeowners who want low-maintenance living, but who do not want to sacrifice home quality and design. “Park Landing is one of our biggest successes,” says Helms. “These homes are perfectly positioned in the heart of the community, and offer residents tremendous value in high-quality, open-floor-plan homes.
The Town Center Gathers More Offerings
The Villages at Brunswick Forest, the community’s adjacent commercial town center, will start 2015 with the much-anticipated opening of the Bessie Burger restaurant. “Bessie Burger is a great addition to The Villages,” says Helms. “It gives our residents another dining option and adds value to the community. It fits perfectly with our convenient lifestyle, which puts our residents close to various dining outlets, as well as retail shopping, a large chain grocery store and top-notch medical services.”
Also in The Villages, local telecommunications company ATMC has plans to open a retail store in 2015 to serve local customers and to provide assistance to Brunswick Forest residents for phone, internet and cable television services. The retail location’s opening coincides with the introduction of fiber-optic broadband service to homes within the community, which gives Brunswick Forest residents the fastest Internet service available in the entire country.
“Overall, it has been a great year for Brunswick Forest,” says Helms. “Every year, we are more successful than the last, and we continue to surpass our own expectations, year after year. I have to think that a major reason we have been so successful is because we have kept the value for our homeowners as our number one priority, and we plan on continuing to do that in the future.”
