Brunswick Forest is ready to debut a brand new neighborhood that features coastal bungalows with beautiful curbside appeal. The Woodlands at Meadow Park boasts modern single-family homes with craftsman and neo-traditional elements.

“This is a new neighborhood for us, and a new concept,” says Jerry Helms, Director of Sales for Brunswick Forest. “We have a forward-thinking development team at Brunswick Forest and we are always striving to create cutting-edge neighborhood concepts for future homeowners.” The Woodlands at Meadow Park is just the newest of these concepts in a community that has seen tremendous growth and high demand for homes since the development’s conception in 2006.

Situated directly across from The Cottages at Meadow Park, right by the Brunswick Forest Loop around the picturesque nature area and just a two-minute walk to the Fitness and Wellness Center, The Woodlands at Meadow Park’s prime location is just one of the reasons why Helms anticipates it will be a very sought-after neighborhood within the community.

Nearby Meadow Park has wide, paved walkways perfect for taking an early morning stroll, as well as a children’s playground and double-gated dog park.

“Plenty of access to green spaces is something that’s very important to us when planning new neighborhoods,” says Helms. “The whole concept for Brunswick Forest is ‘coastal by nature.’ Much of our community’s 4,500 acres are set aside just for parks and natural spaces.”

As with the rest of the Brunswick Forest’s neighborhoods, homes in The Woodlands give owners access to all of the amenities the community has to offer, which include miles of paved walking and biking trails, three community pools, the River Club with small boat and kayak launch on Town Creek, and full access to a state-of-the-art Fitness and Wellness Center.

“We like to say: purchase the lifestyle and the home comes for free,” says Helms.

Out of 43 total home sites in The Woodlands, 20 are alley-served, while the others are accessible through the main street and have nature views. These homes will share a primary focal point: the centrally located park.

“This is a community that lives and gathers together,” says Helms. “The park is the centerpiece of the neighborhood. We envision neighbors coming together at the park to have cocktails and share stories with one another in the evening.” There are seating areas scattered throughout the park and the entire green space is anchored by a large, old South-style oversized fireplace perfect for a community fire on a fall evening. The homes of The Woodlands have a wonderful street presence with a coastal feel reflected in the soft pastel paint colors and the palm trees and live oaks that dominate the landscaping. Meander down the sidewalks past board-and-batten, cedar shake and lap-sided home fronts and quaint yards with brick posts and living hedge fencing. “This is front porch living at its finest,” says Helms. “You can sit back and watch your neighbors stroll by at the end of the day.”

Inside, these homes come stacked with luxury features, such as granite countertops, hardwood flooring, soft-close cabinetry and private screened porches. Wide window casings add character and old South charm both inside and out. There is also an optional outdoor living package with enhanced backyard landscaping, open patio and firepit, so homeowners can take full advantage of southeastern North Carolina’s mild climate.

“The Woodlands at Meadow Park represents a partnership between the Brunswick Forest developers and a premier builder,” says Helms. “We collaborated on a completely new concept that cannot be found in any other neighborhood in the area.” The Woodlands homes are being built exclusively by Logan Homes who is showcasing six model homes that can be customized to suit each buyer’s needs. Land and home packages are currently priced from the low $300’s and homes range in size from 1,800 to 2,400 square feet.

“We listen to our customers,” says Helms. “They want high-quality single-family homes at a great value, and that is what they are getting with The Woodlands.” Perhaps one of the nicest features of the homes is the inclusion of lawn maintenance in the HOA dues, making it the perfect choice for homeowners looking for a simple and convenient lifestyle. “This is maintenance-free living,” says Helms. “All of your lawn work is taken care of for you.”

Models at The Woodlands will be open for viewing during the Brunswick Forest Open House Day on September 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. However, private tours are available now by appointment through the Brunswick Forest Welcome Center or by calling 888-371-2434. This is the community’s third year hosting the event, which typically has more than 50 homes and home sites available to the public for touring, along with direct access to builder representatives.
