While strolling, the 1/5 mile loop, you’ll be given a history lesson on Wilmington starting from the discovery and founding, through Colonial and Antebellum times, including the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, onto the Reconstruction, and the 20th century until today. We will discuss industry, economy, race relations and Wilmington society. View and discuss what makes each style of Architecture unique: Colonial, Greek Revival, Queen Anne and Italianate along with Gothic and Moorish churches and several very unique homes. |
