Summer in Southeastern North Carolina is packed full of entertaining events, concerts, art shows, and a wide variety of other activities within the Brunswick Forest community and Wilmington, NC area! Whether you are just visiting or here to stay, we have your summer checklist for some fun things that can’t be missed!
#1 Brunswick Forest Summer Concert Series- Sit back and relax to the smooth sounds of summer at Annsdale Park in Brunswick Forest! Enjoy free summer concerts on June 14th, July 12th and August 9th from 6-9pm. A variety of music will have you dancing all night long!
#2 Riverfront Farmers Market- Saturdays from April until November, take pleasure in the Riverfront Farmers Market located along the Cape Fear River in beautiful Downtown Wilmington. Pick up your fresh fruits, veggies, plants and many more must-haves along the Riverwalk while strolling and taking in live music! Try out the Riverfront Farmers Market this Saturday from 8am to 1pm.
#3 Brunswick Forest Boat Regatta- Paddle your heart out at this year’s Brunswick Forest Boat Regatta! This annual event will be taking place on Hammock Lake in Shelmore, offering friendly competition, creative boat designs and an all-around great day at Hammock Lake! Enjoy paddle board demos, a deejay, Sunset slush-ies, and a race like no other on Saturday, June 14th from 11am-2pm.
#4 July 4th Family Fireworks- Take to the streets of Historic Downtown Wilmington, NC on July 4th at 9pm for the stunning Fourth of July fireworks! Enjoy this lightshow from Riverfront Park or along the streets of Downtown for a beautiful fireworks display to add to your Fourth of July holiday!
#5 Wilmington Sharks Baseball- Don’t miss a fun night out at Buck Hardee-Field to watch a Wilmington Sharks baseball game. With home games throughout the summer months, it’s easy to take advantage of a game! Buck Hardee-Field is located close to downtown making it a quick trip from your Brunswick Forest home!
