We’re quite fond of Fortunate Glass located in Historic Downtown Wilmington. Fortunate Glass has over 350 fine wines– 60 of which are served by the glass! They also have an amazing charcuterie game and a great tapas menu featuring handmade empanadas and fantastic duck sliders!
Another list topper is Fork n’ Cork! This spot is cozy and casual with only 20 or so seats and a fun wine list with lots of fan favorites. Make sure to arrive a few minutes early to enjoy a glass of wine while you peruse their devilish menu! And, bring your appetite or a friend as the dishes are large enough to share!
If you’re looking for a venue with a bit of an upscale feel, head to Manna for a fantastic glass of wine or a hand-crafted cocktail from a suspender-clad barkeep! Stay for a delicious dinner full of surprises like their Beet Navy dish or the Finger Lickin’ Pig Pickin’!
Our final fave is nestled right in The Villages at Brunswick Forest— Flights Craft Beer & Wine!! Make no mistake, though this place is known for its flights of craft beer or wonderfully sourced wine, it features a fantastic menu offering up an unbelievable burger served with pomme frites or try their lobster mac…what’s not to love!!
