Brunswick Forest Captures History and Southern Charm with Cypress Pointe

Brunswick Forest

Brunswick Forest is gearing up to debut a neighborhood inspired by the architecture and allure of the Old South. Cypress Pointe will join Brunswick Forest’s lineup of premier neighborhoods, each featuring homes with diverse architectural components but containing central elements influenced by the community’s coastal lifestyle.

“We are extremely excited about the upcoming release of Cypress Pointe,” says Brunswick Forest Director of Sales, Jerry Helms. “This is a really special neighborhood and it’s only going to get better. The quality of the neighborhood will unfold with time as more homes are built and the landscaping matures.” When completely built-out, Cypress Pointe will have 140 homes, each with its own distinctive character and charm.

Old World Southern Ambiance
Cypress Pointe will offer homes built by six of the community’s quality homebuilders: Kent Homes, Tribute Homes, Logan Homes, Legacy Homes by Bill Clark, 70 West Builders and Liberty Homes. Each of these companies has a model home available for tours in the community’s model court.

The homes will feature classic Southern architectural elements, such as deep front porches, stately columns, detailed window trim, brick courtyards, plantation shutters and an Old South-inspired color palette. The classic Southern theme will be further reflected in the neighborhood landscaping, which includes crepe myrtles, magnolias and live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss.

“We have been planning this neighborhood for many years,” says Helms. “We’ve visited cities all over the South, and the developer has drawn inspiration from iconic Southern towns like Southport, Wilmington, Charleston and Savannah. The rich history, ambiance and traditional elements of these cities draw people to the region, and we’ve brought those key components to Cypress Pointe.”

Prime Location
Cypress Pointe is within walking distance of several of the most sought-after amenities in Brunswick Forest, including Hammock Lake Park, the new Hammock Pool, and Cape Fear National golf course. Like the rest of the community, Cypress Pointe has been designed with small pocket parks nestled within the neighborhood and is connected through the community’s signature wide, paved walkways.

With a grove of cypress trees as its handsome backdrop, Cypress Pointe’s entrance is marked by oyster shell monuments with dark green fence posts reminiscent of a Charleston aesthetic at the turn of the 20th century.

“Our vision for the community is to continue to create unique homes that cannot be found anywhere else,” says Helms. “With Cypress Pointe, you get all of the charm and character of the South, in an amenity-rich, thoughtfully planned neighborhood.”

Distinctive Model Homes
Cypress Pointe’s model home court will be open daily for public viewing at the end of August. Each home will showcase the custom, detailed work of the builder, which incorporates all of the elements that make this neighborhood special.

Home and Home Site Pricing
Home sites in Cypress Pointe are priced from the low $100’s and include both nature and water views. Land home packages are priced from the high $400’s.

“The public is welcome to visit the neighborhood and see for themselves why it’s so special,” says Helms. “These homes really set themselves apart. It’s a unique style of architecture that few master-planned communities have been able to create, and we are proud to show it off. When you visit Cypress Pointe, you really feel as if you have taken a step back in time.”
